Psychotherapy is a process that involves both a therapist and a client. During therapy, you will be encouraged to talk about your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Common concerns addressed in my practice are; mindset issues, life transitions, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, work-life issues, relationship issues, career, education, stress management, self-regulation, and issues with prioritizing self.
My theoretical orientation is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Anxiety Treatment, Mind-Body connection, and contemplative practices such as mindfulness and yoga. Most of my work is focused on young adults and adult populations. My practice promotes transformation, self-compassion, present moment living, and healing.
Currently, my office is virtual. I am licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Florida as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I provide services to clients living in those states.
