While maintaining a private practice, I served as a School Social Worker with District of Columbia Public Schools where I coordinated behavioral health services for a wide variety of students and staff. I completed by doctoral internship with the Center for Child Protection and Family Support Victim Service Center in Washington DC. I also completed training at the Department of Mental health, and other work in a variety of settings including inpatient psychiatry, community mental health, child protective service, and group homes.
Theory Base
In my work with clients, I like to be engaged, empathetic, and use humor when appropriate. I will always maintain a respectful environment where you will feel safe and comfortable to talk about what you want in a therapeutic environment. My treatment approach is based in cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, solution focused, coaching, mind-body medicine, and other integrative practices that will be used to meet your treatment needs.

I am a mother of two beautiful children, a wife, and a dog owner. I love to travel and explore various cultures and cuisines. In my free time, I enjoy spending time at the beach, reading, meditating, listening to music, and doing crossword puzzles. To stay active, I enjoy running, walking, biking, dancing, and playing tennis.
